HSC is easy.
P.S. There's no Fails in HSC.

If you do get into Engineering, either take a bridging course or take a good look at a Maths textbook at 2-Unit level (preferably higher) before going into uni during or near the end of the summer break so you can at least survive and get your head around it.

-OR-

Adapt to the Maths at uni like you have never before, like extremely fast.
But you'll gain the knowledge in statistics but that's only useful later on.

P.S.

HSC Physics is nothing compared to uni Physics.

Many people use Medical Science as a gateway to Medicine later on provided they do really well.
Medical Science students are responsible for keeping the cut-off pretty high because there's so many of them (and thanks for keeping my friend at another uni due to the higher cut-off here :()
thanks man with this type of encouragement i hope to get where i want :D

I'd like to do Commerce/Law at UNSW, but that needs 99.3 UAI (which I probably won't get, but notice my sig for aspirations). Failing that I'd probably do Commerce/International Studies and then a post-graduate Law degree... would it be the same???

I do have an increasing interest for commerce. But with that said engineering is looking pretty good.
