What DONT you like about YOUR uni (1 Viewer)

I am currently procrastinating... I have my major assignment due well err today lol and well EYE just thought of something. Since everyone's going to say my uni's the best at this or that etc etc. I just though hey... instead of talking about what our uni's excel at, tell us what they don't excel at, little things that piss us off about our own uni's.

I'll start

Macquarie University-

*They have way too much merchandise with "Macquarie University" printed on everything and they try to sell us all these jumpers, beanies, pants etc! It's embarassing!
* We have two different passwords and id's to remember to get into places/websites/library etc! This sucks it's annoying!
*The uglyness of some of the buildings, jeez fix up the courtyard already! Why are the computer buildings so much more prettier and the gardens so much nicer over the end thats less used, whereas the entrance most used by people to get into Macquarie is characterised by dying grass and no statues or gardens to speak of! O.K well there is but what the hell is that plastic thing all about? It looks like a peice of garbage! Where da hell are all the trees in the middle part of Macquarie!
*PARKING! OMG!! if you come to macquarie at 12 o clock you will spend an hour driving around looking for parking! You'de think that our multi-levelled ugly looking car parks would be enough but NO! EVERYONE STOP DRIVING TO UNI so i can come late.

- there.is.no.fucking.parking.
- crowds (esp. outside the library)
- the library - books are always out, I'm always forced to go to maq's library because they actually, you know, have books.

- student politics..its all bullshit, even I'm getting into shit with the new Guild president because he claims I'm not running the Commerce society elections properly
- consecutive classes on other ends of the campus
- the fact that we're at uni the longest (14 week semester)

UNSW:
- The fact it is so far from any station
- The slope
- The lack of nearby fast food off campus (apart from McDonalds)
- The distance from the city
- The lack of working lifts

Definitely! Do the other Universities have this problem? The other problem I have is that I live so far from the campus, but some people have it worse, so I can't complain.

YES!!!!!! i know! that dog so annoying - did you know its a guide dog that does it? a little black labrador, and because its owener is blind, its owner cant see that is is shitting everywhere. Arent they supposed to be trained to do that before they leave home? Grrr.
Yeah, Union fees shit me off,
and the fact that my buildings are as far away from redfern station as they possibly could be.
Usyd is filled with beautiful people... tis a bit freaky...
the ross st building.... stay away! it may collapse at any minute!

-med school is too far from a decent coffee place.. got to run across 2 double lane roads.. to get any

-some buildings are so massively old school and so can get quite stuffy and hot..

-quality of student union outlets are poor compared to UniSA.. and Usyd

-sometimes smells lik sheep outside my tut room ...

I have only had to use the library once so far and all the books I wanted were out too.
