I don't get it either... but I think some of them might be looking to transfer after their first year into a double degree or something else and thinking they can get easily get the necessary grades in artsy subjects?

yeh but seeing as how there is law at unsw and law and usyd both @ 99+ pumping out quality graduates into the industry every year, i dont really like the chances of one coming from UNE, or any other uni for that matter...

99.3/6 is hell high to be aiming for. too high. so i would look at other unis. some unis have lower cut offs, do one of them.

you don't have to apply if you're one of those special 99.95 or 100 people
or 99.5 in the case of macquarie

If you're in year 11 this year eling, by the time it comes to your turn for admissions you'll need at least 95 to do law anywhere (except perhaps UNE which will be bout 85-86....

maybe UOW law will always stay at 91.00...it has been for like 3 yrs straight...lol
UWS law has had the most violent fluctuations in uai cut offs these past few years.eg. (705680) B Health Science/ B Laws

2002: 96.60
2003 90.10
2004 i think it was a 92.25?

Hey thanks everyone for ur replys when i was kinda uncertain about law. The UAI's pretty high but i think i'll still aim for it. If i can get into combined law in USyd- eco/law it'll b perfect but Maquarie is ok 2 if i dun get the uai. If i dun get headhunted by firms there's other options like barrister, solicitor etc
