I don't believe you can score under 30.

If you get an '*' you've scored under 30, whether it be 27, 2, 17 they just give you a '*'

EDIT: i believe with the new ATAR system, it is an ATAR of under 36 = *

We (Tasmania) got ours as early as Sunday night/Monday morning.
