Qualities in a great hug? Hmm...I would say the person's body.....if they're a bit on the chubby side, hugging them would be heaven e.g. Whenever I see my little sister, first thing I do is hug her not only because I want to display affection, but because she's so cute and chubby: hugging her is nearly one of the best things in the worlds! ^_^ with friends, well depends who it is (gender and friendship wise).....close girlfriends, like really close will have long lasting hugs( talking from experience)...fair weather ones will be quite quick and boring, and sometimes they might include the fake kisses on the cheek.
