Yes, it would be possible to achieve a UAI (ATAR) of 98+ with those subjects.

English is the only mandatory subject for the HSC, you MUST do it. So the answer is no.

I'm doing Japanese this year and it is my pet hate. The only good thing to come out of it is that i get an external certificate to put into my CV, that does not include the low mark that has become prevalent in my Japanese grades.:jedi:

So I'm most likely doing Advanced Englihs, Mathematics, Visual Arts, Business Studies and I'm still considering other options.

Still choosing between: Modern History, Society and Culture, not sure which science and maybe Legal Studies?
Well outta the subjects you just stated, Modern History has the best scaling.

Okay, at the moment:

Adv English
Mathematics
Ancient History
Biology

Not sure about:
Physics OR Chemistry...not really good at PLUS i hate it. Chemistry, although it is Assumed Knowledge as well as Physics.
Although i enjoy Physics, and apparently it's more about concept then Maths? Which i quite like the sound of..

Society and Culture OR Food Technology...Leaning towards to SAC.

Any recommendations/suggestions?

EDIT: I want to do Veterinary Science at Uni Syd, although ATAR is too high, so Charles Sturt. haha oops.

If you like the idea of maths in physics why not take maths extension as well?
its mad scaling if you do that.
