First real song, the whole way through:
The Bad Touch - The Bloodhound Gang

Before that was childrens songs and nursery rhymes, back when I was in primary school.

As for acoustic songs, what are you looking for? I can give you some amazing acoustic reccomendations, however, your chances of being able to play them are slim. Or I can list easier stuff.

The earliest song I can remember learning on bass is Megalomaniac by Incubus.

I can't think of any acoustic song right except this one...

It's easy enough at the start until it hits the 2 minute mark, then there's something to practice.

Here's the tab...

Smoke on the Water riff in Music in year 8.
I hate that song so much.

I'm pretty sure the next song we had to learn was Good Riddance by Green Day.

EDIT: I also remember someone teaching me a part of the intro to Nothing Else Matters by Metallica.

I love Yemen so much.

Wracking my brain so hard right now to think of acoustic songs, but I'm all out.

All I can think of is Opeth's acoustic stuff, which is too hard.
