I've never used Patel but the Terry Lee + Cambridge + past paper combo has served me well so far. I tend to teach myself the topic from Cambridge and then our school does it in Terry Lee.

I should add that, even though Cambridge X2 is not a good textbook for learning the course, it is a great source of question when you reach the revision stage.
