imo, it was a fairly difficult exam.

What would be the cut-off for a band 6?

Although q 10 was fairly simple compared to other year.. I'd say that cut off will be around 94-98 because there were harder shit throughout the paper.. Not just the last questions.

Yeah, I reckon it was some-what different to previous year exams... I'm not sure why.....

But there were no questions worth > 3 mostly out of 2 with many parts. -_-

Edit: intensity q + locus = fail lol. I think overall the ones i wasnt confident with and didn't really know added up to about 13 marks? so that's around 107ish? hoping for a 95+ incase of any silly mistakes...

94-98/120? 1-8 was easy. 9-10 is where most people would find challenging.

Adding my marks up, i think i've got somewhere between 90 and 100. 93 is my estimate. Do you reckon i'd get a band 6 from that, or just miss it?

It's hard to say depending on what the cut-off is. You might scrape the Band 6 or you might just miss out.

I think I got 100-107.

I added all the things that I think I will get right and came out to be 107.

But if I took out some silly mistakes... then I'll probably get 100

Apparently cut off is around 92.

My friend does 4 unit and he did his 2 unit hsc 2 years ago and got a band 6. He was certain that he got like 84 / 120... idk

Hopefully everyone gets what they want.

I know that for an ATAR of 88.00, i'll need every mark i can get.

I support the theory of around 94-98 for band 6. :) I was thinking closer to 98 though with question 9/10 being so easy.

Question 10 was half-alright for me. In saying that, i probably only got 6/12, maybe 7 if i'm lucky.
I think question 9 was the worst one i did, looking back and comparing what i can remember to the online answers. 5, maybe 6 out of 12 there.
I think i may have done the ratio question wrong in 8, and i had a mental blank on the last part 8cii2. Otherwise good.
I'm confident for an 11 or 12 in 7.
6 i now realise i made two silly mistakes, and almost completely neglected the locus question, so there goes 4 or 5 marks.
Happy with a 10 in 5, because i think i messed up 5biii, and had an addition error in the simpsons rule bit.
9 or 10 in 4, because i screwed the inequalities one, and may or may not have integrated dii correctly.
Aced 3.
11 or 12 for 2. Again, i may have screwed the integration one.
11 or 12 for 1. I might have screwed the inequalities one.

Evidently, i suck at inequalities and integration and locus and superannuation, and more.

So, 91 at worst, and 100 at best.

I reckon the cutoff will be around 95. The test was as hard as it was easy. Personally I can get 105 without any silly mistakes however knowing myself I could get anywhere from 98-105. Do you guys think 98 would suffice for a b6?
