i think its because people dont finish the hsc course till 3 weeks before the hsc..
by the way.. its actually teachers who are there answering the questions.. they give up their holidays to answer ur questions (then again if i was getting paid like $70 an hour i wouldnt be complaining).. they cant exactly be there during school time when the course isnt even finished

hmm..point taken..
but still...they could hire them externally...not JUST teachers,..they could even find some past students who did well at their sub

Heheh, like ask your teachers for their ICQ/MSN :) You'ld be surprised how easier it is to do your hw in the arvo and when you get stuck you can just go on MSN and ask your teacher. :D

yes it is worth the money. it is good for clearing up little things. maybe not for english though, depends if you get a teacher who has taught your text.

you're a bit early for the advice line, mate :D
it doesn' t open til late september or early october....

and i never knew they got paid!!!!

my chem teacher was like, "ok girls i'm gonna be on the advice line... and if i end up on the phone with any of you, you have some explaining to do!!" lol he was cool. he didn't like the idea of us going to tutoring or getting outside help (i think he was offended in a good-natured sort of way, lol)... coz he seriously was the best teacher, he didn't care how long he took explaining something or how many recesses/lunches he had to give up. God i miss school now :(
