As for dropping Ext 1 English:
a) I have 14 units (still haven't officially dropped Ext 1 yet), so the extra 4 or 5 study periods per fortnight would be good...technically I'll have 11 units after dropping Ext
You have your extension lessons during school hours?

Yea, the only Extension class that is officially out of school hours is History Extension (that I know of). However, I do have one Ext 2 lesson on a Friday afternoon from 3:30-4:30.

Yea.
That was what I was thinking as well...

Btw. how did you manage to do so well with 14 units?...particularly with both Ext 2 Maths & English. (while we're on the subject of time management)

We're doing conics at the moment, yes it is quite bland... two weeks so far of mouldy cheese *cough*. I'm behind, I only started doing the work for it yesterday! heh.

I don't see why not. I'm rather interested in seeing a "take 4" so go for it.

We've finished graphs n complex (and the assessment in this)

Polynomials is covered, nearly done with Integration...we'll be doing volumes soon

Aiming for UAI: 98++ (impossible)
Quite happy with 96++
Taking Ext2, Ext1, Maths, Phy, Chem, ESL, Indonesian

We're finishing of conics this term. Tie up loose ends for conics at the start of next term.

That leaves Integration, Volumes and Mechanics and a bit of harder 3U to cover next term and the term after. So much for not finishing before trials.

I've now done half of Graphs, which our teacher is apparently abandoning in favour of Conics which we're going to do during the holidays...(yes that's right, during the holidays we're going to school :eek: ). Then that leaves Mechanics, Volumes & Harder 3U.

Hmm...
So for laurie_field, getting 100 in all of the Latin & Classical Greek subjects was kind of a "bludge"?...if only I could get 99 or 100 and say it was a bludge - maybe for Business Studies, but that's about it (even that's not really a bludge and 99 is extremely hard to come by) :(

well i think we've only got three more topics to go?.. we've done complex, graphs, conics, volumes.. and we're doing integration... just up to the integ. by parts.. i dont know how much is left after that.. then we only have left.. mechanics, harder 3u and polynomials...

this integration topic is driving me nuts.. i dono wah to choose for the substitutions.. ><
