I'm doing both at my school out of about 50 or 60 odd theres 14 in English, 10 in Maths and 5 doing both.

I must say having classes with the same 5 people nearly all day is starting to suck at such a small school.

When I was in Year 11, we had about 15 people doing Maths Ext, 10 doing Eng Ext and 3 doing both out of about 85 students. Heaps of people dropped Maths Ext though.

I only did MX1.

In my school, we are only allowed to do one extension subject
That's weird.

No one at my school is doing it... although some nut cases expected some of us too =="

None of the people who do math extension 2 at my school would touch english extension 2 and vice versa XD

I'm doing Ext English and Ext Maths, and plan to do both at an Ext 2 level, plus Japanese Ext and Chemistry.

Yay for no life :)

I would have done both but in a catholic school SOR 1 is compulsory so you have to chose one or the other (I picked Maths)

Currently I do both EX1 and MX1, only person at my school stupid enough to do that lol. Also I've been asked to possibly take up History Extension next year.. not sure what to do, don't want to sacrifice any sciences (maybe Bio if it's still boring, but my teacher is win).

So I'm in a slightly awkward position of really liking all my subjects, having nothing that I can say I look forward to dropping next year...

Yeah I'm doing both as well. I'm not brilliant but I think it's bearable. Like everyone else said, it's not that uncommon.

At my school I'd say the majority, including myself, do both Extensions, and next year I think most will be doing at least one Extension II subject. In year 11 if we want to do both extensions, we still have to keep the rest of our subjects, meaning most of us have 14 units. Its actually not that difficult, but we get no free periods.

I'm doing 3 3. I think around 2/3 people in my school are doing three three.
I don't really find that it takes that much more effort,
since if I was doing two maths it would feel a bit slow x.x;;
