My schools retarded so we did The Crucible in Advanced English and Standard did Skryznecki. I really enjoyed the first few seconds of the movie, the forest bit where Abigail rips of the chickens head or whatever.
Anyway, we were meant to read all our texts during the holidays - Hamlet, Pride and Prejudice, Letters To Alice and Birthday letters. I started the first few pages of pride and prejudice and hamlet but other then that i've read jack all.
Shirtless dancing...
Anywho, the movie is shit. Really shit. I know that particular part of the movie appealed to everyone in my class including the sub we had that day, except me...
Although, I quite enjoyed the lesbian scene in Black Swan, but that was actually well done.

The only thing i enjoyed about HSC English was reading the texts. For some odd reason one always seems they can relate not matter how absurd it is.

Frankenstein gave me the absolute shits when I started reading it. I just couldn't get into it at all. argh! But then I watched a video summary, and that got me motivated and I actually started to enjoy the book.
Back at school tomorrow.
Pages read 191/278

Finally finished Snow Falling on Cedars last night, haha. Surprising that I had time to spare.
