I got Band 5 for everything but Band 6 in History.

An ok result, but I feel like I could have done better if I had studied. Or worked hard in year 10. Oh well.

Hey you guys did really well
I got:

Geography 97 (B6)
Maths 96 (B6)
Science 95 (B6)
English 94 (B6)
History 91 (B6)

So i was REALLY happy, especially with English (only 82 in trials), and i always seem to stuff up multiple choice. I was a bit confused with history, its always been my best subject and i expected that to be the top, and i thought the exam was DEAD EASY!
Weird...

Did mine two years ago... Here's the result:
English: 84% - Band 5 (not bad for me who just arrived in Aussie for two years)
Mathematics: 99% - Band 6 (I got wrong in one of these two dumb questions involving assume knowledge of the length of police car and how many $2 will fit into A4 paper)
Science: 89% - Band 5 (Grr... miss by one for band 6. Shoulda get 1 mark if I didn't make reckless mistake involving vagina)
History: 93% - Band 6 (No comment. I was surprised too)
Geography: 85% - Band 5 (Only write half a page for the essay part)

Average: 90%

It's good, but SC doesn't matter anymore for me as HSC will come in about 8 months.

I got in 2004:
English Literacy - 86 (probably screwed up comprehension section because I know I did pretty well in the writing section)
Mathematics - 98 (really easy test, could have got 100 if it wasn't for silly mistakes...lol)
Science - 91 (for someone doing 6U of science, this isn't too bright lol)
Australian History - 88 (politics was boring but learning about WWI and WWII was pretty interesting, too bad SC didn't focus on that at the time)
Australian Geography - 90 (Woot! Just scaped into band 6! Skills part was easy but short/extended response bits were mostly BS)

Average - 90.6

Obviously SC means nothing, but you gotta like the look of that certificate!!!..lol

I did English in 2004 and got a Band 6, and completed the rest last year and got Band 6 for History and Geography and Band 5 for Maths and Science.

But this was a million years ago and doesn't count toward anything...my biggest concern - HSC. You little kiddies doing the SC don't stress coz you're not stressing for anything important lol In terms of academic achievement it doesn't matter if you get 40 or 90...however, if you're like me, then this would severely impact on your confidence for the next two years so study a sufficient amount :p

i did mine back in '04, i got:

english - 97
math - 96
science - 95
geography - 94
history - 98

average: 96

i was very pleased with that, but people care about SC marks for about 2 days then forget them.

man the school certificate....
good days....when no effort was needed to rake in the marks....
i got four band 5s and one band 6...
and i swear it was by doing one-nighters and never doing homework....

honestly let me warn you SCers....
start gearing up...
yeah the SC may seem easy but as soon as year 11 hits it just gets harder and harder and the habits you kept that gave you great marks in the SC will result only in total crap from then on....
hear it from me.. it took me a long time to adjust yr 11 and now half way through yr 12 i only wished that i maybe started practicing some better habits then.....

I did mine back in 2004. I got all band 6s and i was the only person at my school to do so. didnt get any recognition for it though.. :mad1:

but seriously, now that im doing the HSC, the SC seems irrelevant. im getting even higher results and you get more recognition. so if some of you arent happy with your SC results, i wouldnt worry because it doesnt count for much later on in life (unless you leave school of course)...:)

I got Band 5 for all my subjects which I thought was pretty good. I thought I would get Band 4 for english and history but managed the mid 80's for english and high 80's for history.

My results (without study tyvm) were much like shlinkies. Stage 5? was sooo boring and i find that Certificate very useless.

HAH, bring on a technical drawing school certificate exam!
