why do they have dif times? wouldnt it make it unfair for some candidates then?

They have different times because of the large number of candidates and can't possibly fit everyone into the venues they have.
Yes and no, there are two different exams set for the two different times, however they are closely based on each other to keep it as fair as possible.

I'm also in Glebe at the Wentworth Park Function Centre. And omg. 8am? Does the test start at 8am? Or registration? I think i'll just get there at like 7am lol..which means I have to be up at like 5am and on a train by like 6am rofl. That's insane!!!

CAN WE TAKE A STOPWATCH? Page 13 says stopwatch is prohibited. Do they mean like a fitness style stopwatch, one that you like hang around your neck? Can't you take a stopwatch that is like a watch, on your wrist, with a stopwatch function???????? SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE THE UMAT BEFORE AND KNOWS TELL ME!!!!

From what i know and what i have discussed with others, I think they are trying to infer that the use of a stopwatch is prohibited because it would be annoying if they started to go off and the beeping they make while setting up the time is a distraction, i suggest you bring a watch and see how much time u have left, also they will give a ten minute warning before the end of each section.

The tests are different. Apparently, even if you do it at the same time in the same venue, the questions may vary or their order will vary.

One of the more unique experiences of yr 12 i've heard as they crush a mass of people into the hall, takes foooooooookin ages to get everyone organised apparently. It's not all people our age either, there maybe some older people there, not like an exam. Make sure you take your ID and ticket or will most definetly send you packing, they don't have time to stuff around
