Industrial chem is by far the worst topic I've done in both prelim+HSC of all the sciences. So damn long with at least a dozen equations to memorize with so many processes to remember as well. On top of that it's boring and we'll probably only get tested on 10% of the topic so it's barely rewarding.

Lolol I think its my favourite, followed closely by acidic environment.
It makes me happy when I get to the option part because I just keep writing and doodling on.
btw, how many pages (A4 binders) should we be writing for the 7 markers? I'm usually writing about 2.25-2.5 pages and for the 5 markers I write 1.5-2 pages.
In trials I got too carried on and wrote 2.5 pages for a 3 marker lol

For a 7 mark industrial, 2 pages is fine. For some of your other ones, cut them down -> if marking guidelines have something on 'logical and coherent' or whatever and you've waffled for 2 pages on a 5 marker, you'll lose marks definitely. You don't need near that much space to get full marks on a five marker if you write concisely and to the point

If you have equilibrium where two gases make a liquid, does changing pressure do anything?

For reference: 2001 Q28 b) ii)

I know nothing about galvanic cells...

Ok, ok, I know ANOX and OILRIG but I still screw those Qs up.
Just think that the top line on the standard potentials sheet oxidises and the bottom reduces.
And because the top is oxidation, you just need to change the equation around and slip the sign :)
