I like the Classical Economic Theory, it personally makes sense to me.

In terms of whackyness it's definitely Keynes. He was a womaniser, a bohemian and part of the Bloomsbury group (which advocated much sexual freedom, something uncanny in the 50's-60's).

Though generally, Adam Smith made the whole bloody science. Many others just stood on the 'shoulder of giants'.

And props to Malthus for predicting the world would end (the Industrial revolution really bitched him).

I wouldn't call Gittins an economist.

Many HSC students tend to lap up what he says without question, which is a real shame.

I just like him because he's basic, I don't know about economics to know the technical details so I rely on his articles in the SMH to kinda sum it up simply for me to understand and make a judgement.
