Are you saying you see indecisiveness in chicks or the fact that they don't know what "inb4indecisionoverbf" means? Serious question. LOL.

hey,,lets me tell you my story,, i and my friend went to dymock to get some book for year 11...we're gonna get the cambridge book 3 units for sure.but i dont know what should i get for my other subject( chemistry, physic, business).so i decide to get excel just because 1 reason: look not bad,,i mean nice cover.my friend told me not to get because he had readed some review about this book.but i didnt listen to him,,, that was the worst decision of my life,,so one tip to u guys, "alway listen to your best friend".back to my story,,uhm after purchasing those for about $80( chemistry, business studies, physic) about $28 each..i took them home and readed some,,how did i fell when i readed it....SO DISAPPOINTED,,shit information, its not even helpful, cos u dont even nedd it in your assignment or exam,so,,i'm putting those books on ebay now..so excel is not good enough if u wanna get band 5 or 6

Don't choose a book by its cover. You should always read the textbook so you can see its content before purchasing. Unless it's sealed.

I think excel is good for a starting point for learning ahead. But I wouldn't solely rely on it. For our common subjects I use,

Maths: Terry Lee Fundamentals, Cambridge 3U, Fitzpatrick and past papers.

Physics: Jacaranda, Physics in Context, Surfing Physics and the Dot point book.

English: Writing notes and listening to teacher, pasting sticky notes in my prescribed text of techniques, quotes etc.
Um what are some good books for engineering studies????
BTW Thanks for sharing :)

Unfortunately there is one book that most schools use since it's one of the few that is available, The Definitive Guide - Copeland. However, there is a workbook available which I heard was very good, it's called A Student's Workbook - John Rochford.
