i've just finished making a bet with a few friends on what we will each get. the numbers are written down and safley hidden to not be looked at until we get the marks. loser has to buy the winner drinks for a night. shit i hope i'm not the loser. personally i'll be happy with anything over 80. but to be on the safe side i'll say late 70's. dont want to jinx anything

If I get 95 though, I'll probably be ecstatic....

But if I keep up the way I'm going now, Ill only get 85...

I need 90+ to get into design or digital media....

Hey! Im trying to get into Liberal Studies (international)! Go Liberal Studies!
At the moment my marks are good enough to get there (assuming the UAI doesn't go up from 97.10, which it probably would...) but it just depends on whether the exams go my way.. If i get a curly question that throws me off i won't make it.. The estimator has predicted 97.35 (bit of a coincidence hey Lazarus?) if i keep my marks as they are.. *fingers crossed*

its quite obvious that to get 99.95 or 100, u need to get in Band 6 for all of your best 10 units

probably 90-95 depending on my english score and how far into band 6 i get in phys,chem,bio and i dont fuk up maths..eng is the killer for me...

be nice to get 96 cause with the "extra" 5 points i sorta get cause i attend a shit rural redneck school i could go round saying i got a uai of 101!

I'm mystified by the fat that some of you are so confident of getting such high marks... I have no idea what to expect as my UAI, as the scaling and the dodging with marks, and the changing of assessments could mean anything!!

I am making a very uncertain estimate when I say 75... I may have gotten Dux, but there is absolutely no way that anyone could get me to state above 80... how can I possibly know what i might get when 50% of my mark is yet to come...
It just annoys me that so many people (at my school) expect to get these massive UAI's when we don't really know our assessment marks and haven't done our exam. I think many will be shocked...
My point is "don't count your chickens before they're hatched"... saying that you will get 100% might be asking for trouble... conservatism is sometimes safer than positivity... at least you shouldn't be dissapointed!
