Would I be allowed to use a prescribed text as a related text in another module?

No,you should stay away from all prescribed texts as related. It shows to the marker you've gone out of your way to pick something and analyse something for yourself.

Yes, you can. I've asked my head teacher and you're allowed to. Although, I agree with LHS. It's best to go find your own related texts since it's your own detailed analysis which is valuable.

Yeah, i guess as everyone else has said its just frowned upon because it can sort of show that maybe you're to lazy to go and analyse something else..

Nope, I asked my teacher this and it's not recommended. Best not to get on a HSC marker's nerves when two of your units are at their mercy
