Re: The Nonsense Thread

Man, you have an admirable work ethic.
what work ethnic? :p

seriously, it fluctuates heaps. Like I'm either procrastinating for long periods of time or basementing

plus, most of my yearlies are over, so I feel a lot more relaxed now for 3U :)

Well, judging by your posts, you have quite a bit of energy when it comes to work.

Guise, I need a related text for inner journeys. Preferably with intertextual links to "Enter Without So Much as Knocking" by Bruce Dawe, i.e. shit about consumerism/bureaucracy or w/e. Anyone mind helping?

Hugh Selwyn Mauberley by Ezra Pound might be a decent one - it's a poem.

Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner - it's a novel though - don't know if you can be bothered (lol) - but a really good read. There's also a movie for it.

Basically 80% of Shaun Tan's stuff - picture books - he has some fantastic stuff and Tan's also Australian, so it's possibly easier to find links to Dawe.

hence solve = -1 for 0 < x < 360

(I hate latex)

I get the first half right, b = 150.

And then I can get one of the answers for the 'hence' bit but not the other

It should be Csin(x-B)

Did you get 2Sin(x-60) ?

Are you sure the question is typed correctly? I get it to B to be 300, C=2

I got b as 300 degrees

edit: too slow lol

basically, sinx is negative, cos is positive and tan is negative, therefore the angle has to be in the 4th quadrant
