mine was filled with terrible lectures and forced friendship activities (wanted to neck myself multiple times)
but I made friends in my lectures so it wasn't all bad

Lecture was pretty much how I expected it to be, met a few people I already knew so didn't really talk to anyone new

remember to stay away from the main library entrance, because 90% of the time you will be hassled to sign something or take a flyer for something

but sometimes the stuff is good, like when they're selling tickets to a comedy night or something

So I had one thing only today, and after seeing some old colleagues I hadn't seen since last year, they made it a point to immediately bring up how I was not a real maths student because I was transferring to Arts =P

Well, for my first accounting tutorial - you know that game where you have set categories and you have to find people who fit into that and write their name down? Like for example, a box might say "Has red hair" and then you go up to the ranga in the class, introduce yourself and get his/her name on your page. That was... horrible.

Umm, but for economics - it was a little less extravagant, we just had to make a little nametag to put on our desks.


For maths (and the two finance courses), we got straight into doing work. Which was a welcome change.

And SCIF... well that was basically 12 weeks of get-to-know-each-other exercises.

Less/more seriously, oh yes I forgot to say that I went to the Science Theatre only to find the uni booked it out from like 9am-4pm each day

so... i can only go there and play the piano after that - so i guess i'll do that tomorrow. yay for the free piano

I only had a k-6 maffs lecture today (fuck you uon) but at least it looks like it's gunna be a decent course.

8-10am lecture. It took 5eva!
then I explored the library and borrowed my textbook so I can sus it out before I buy it.

and then my first engineering tutorial. it was fun. many a joke was made about scientists and mathematicians heheheh
we got put into groups for our Engineering Without Borders project and I made 4 friends

then I came home and met kfnmpah
