Muslims are not being selfish - they just want to follow their religion and pray, all there asking for is one room to do that.

Yeah well try making a demand like that in a country in the middle east. They treat westerners like absolute shit in their countries - but they are treated much better here than were treated over there.

You do understand that the work 'Sheikh' doesn't only apply to Taj Aldin exclusively, right?

It simply means the person who presents a sermon and leads prayers.

Iran, Iraq and Qatar just to name a few. Olbviously there are some where westerners are ok like Kuwait, saudi arabia, and dubai...but their are a fair few places in the middle east where if, lets say an Australian goes to a university over their and demand a private prayer room, they would be laughed at and their demand wouldnt even be considered, let alone an Australian being allowed to be educated in some of their countries.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saudi_Arabia

Why the fuck do we need a fucking praying room on campus? Keep your bullshit brainwashed religion at home.
as part of their religion they need to pray five times a day, just like christians go to church once a week. its ONE ROOM, ONE ROOM in an ENTIRE UNIVERSITY! omg people, im sure they can provide one room for a few minutes so that muslims can pray. ITS A MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY get use to it, we have to accept other peoples believes, you dont need to be rude about it.

their religion may seemed brainwashed, but then again, to someone who knows nothing about it, it would be.

Did you read the article?
There are already eight Muslim prayer rooms across the university's three campuses, Dr Maddy McMaster, Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor (Students) said. "The university's policy is that prayer rooms in its spiritual centre are multi-faith, open to bookings by members of all faiths," she said.

Lol, Dubai is a country yes. :)

Ridiculous, you just assume shit. Have you ever been to any countries in the Middle East? NO COUNTRY in the Middle East is 100% muslim, they have to accomodate for people of other religions.

The only real rejective force are the Saudis, and you've got them listed under the "westerners are okay" country list.

If you want to pray that's your own choice everyone else shouldn't need to make exceptions for you.
