Ours are super easy, but the scores are still spread quite evenly. But, for example, in 2 unit last exam 4 people came first (me and 3 others). 3 unit is fairly evenly spread.

Our school makes 2U exams hard for some reason.

The 2U half yearly's average was about 55% or something I think.

Our 2u maths exams were also pretty easy despite a little low average.
The school average (if I can correctly remember) ranged from about 55~75%, I think. Mark ranged from the lowest being 0~15% to the highest being 98~100%.
The fact that there were several 'highest's means that exams need to be a bit more difficult.

+1, Last year's was set to such a low standard... considering last years cohort was one of the largest i thought they would raise the bar a bit to distinguish between 1,2,3...n but nup

Lol, that exam was semi-general. I mean, whether you got 100 or 97, it doesn't really prove anything because only 1 or 2 marks differentiate 100 from 97.

My friend got 96 in 2 unit maths and now he is beating me in 3 unit maths.

Teachers tend to make 2U exams so easy that it can only differentiate people in 2u. It just seems like they forgot the presence of 3U people sitting the same assessment task.
