It's the number facing up on the dice ie the one you see in an aerial view of the dice rolled108/120
i havnt seen my paper yet
but i def know i got 0/5 in probability, still do not know what upper most number(s) is
You'll be right with mxt2Although I will add that I got 9% above the others which will push me into second place with about a gap between first and I of around ~1-2% which I can live with I guess as 2U won't count for me next year anyway!
I hope everyone else gets pleasing results.

thnx u did well urself, 90% is always a good number, btw any1 knoe wat constitutes a band 6 in adv is it above 100/120?well done bdogz! really solid effort there.
erm...i got smack bang on 90%...that's like 108.
Not terrible, but not fantastic considering I topped extension 1 and should be getting more like 114+ (i.e. 95%+).
My problem was that I got cocky and was like, "nar, I don't need to revise, it's 2U!! I got 96% in mid-yearly, so I should be fine"...
bleh =/
When i looked at the 2U paper today, i had to read that question quite a few times before i understood what they meant.(OOOOOOMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG)^3
i thought it mean like eg, upper most numbers on a dice = 4, 5, 6 the higher numbers
what a waste of 20 mins on a 5 mark total Q
It really depends on your externals, but if you got 100/120 for CSSA trials you should be able to get a band 6. If you got in the 90s you still have band 6 potential, just aim to ace the external HSC examsthnx u did well urself, 90% is always a good number, btw any1 knoe wat constitutes a band 6 in adv is it above 100/120?
Pardon? For what?did you get > 10/12
The HSC 2U maths exam is out of 120, so do you mean 88/120? If so that would prob get you about an 82-83. Im pretty sure that band 6 (90) usually equals about 100-105/120, and on a really easy paper (e.g. 2008) i think it would have been about 109/120.wat would a raw HSC mark of 88 be scaled to.. and 90? in adv. maths????
