We had our soc cult exam the same time as the CAFS kids, we spent the entire time ripping into them. ha. I'd love to know more of the multiple choice q's from the independent paper, if anyone can remember?

Do you remember any other examples? I'm curious...
Uhm... I remember vaguely the short answers being something like 'explain in detail a rite of passage' and something about 'compare your micro world to a micro world of an overseas individual'.

I don't remember the 'or' option to question one, though. sorry!

I remember most of our short answers,
explain how the concepts inter-relate,
what is globalization,
how does globalization relate to westernization, y
you are doing research on the affetcs of magazines on teenage girls which methodologies would you use? justify your use of blah blah
what is socialization
something about analyzing socialization

and our long responses were to do with socialization
cross cultural communication and

and it was something like discuss 'the concept of adolescence is universal'

our short responses were pretty straight forward- define micro and macro world (lol), discuss the usefulness of the use of questionnaires compared with interviews, discuss your experience of continuity and change in either your micro or macro world, what is an interview, what is a questionnaire, etc.

Ahhh, on tues we had the modules....

The question was hilarious..something along the lines

Othello was about:

a) the hankerchief
b)an exploration into irrational emotions of humans

i wonder....

Chem was an epic fail today, i blame our teacher =P

I'm just over half way. Both English Papers, Chemistry and Ancient History; tick.
Physucks this morning, 2U Maths and PD/H/PE next Monday and Tuesday.

The it's all over red rover, bring on the holidays! :)

Dear year 12, you're a little bit intimidating.

re: Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread

All mine are over now ^_^ fleedom for all!!!... now to start extra and kick it up a couple of gears for the HSC 2/3U maths.

English Paper 1: Aced it but comprehension I'm weary about.
English Paper 2: I'm very sure I've done. Twas easy.
Physics: Probably the hardest exam (it was fully bought) but I went alright.
Chemistry: Ha. Way too simple. 2 hour exam and did it all in 59min.
Studies of Religion I: loled really hard. Very simple but one or two MC were weird.
Music 1: They played "Isn't She Lovely" - The Idea of North which I fell in love with and couldn't stop dancing to in the exam (basically all of us were singing XD)... and the viva voce was weird as it was my first one.

and obviously there is no reason for me to sit the prelim maths exams.

Physics over, wasn't too bad, but there were a few questions which I know I screwed up.

re: Preliminary Yearlies Discussion Thread

Epiphanies are excellent things.
I did my economics exam yesterday. And I turned to my friend at the end of it and said, "I'M QUITTING IT!"
As much as I love it, the exams for it are suck-all...
And I really want to do 4U English and 3U history. :)

So, I really love epiphanies. :D
