Yeah and if I put a bunch of questions to a gay couple about the well-being of their already-troubled adopted child, theyre pretty much likely to give an accurate and reliable account

Well then, that data may be quite dodgy, yes.

Although it seems the study was based upon both interviews and quantitative data from the child welfare system.

Yeah, quantitative data on how troubled they were before homosexual adoption, and then highly valuable data from the homosexual couples about the miracle transformation!@

It also gets tiring having to defend something as vital and common-sense to the well-being of an actual society - let alone faith

You have a distorted view of me. The man you refer to is completely artless
and drunk

You know how the seat of Bradfield is being contested now there's doing to be a by-election now Brendan Nelson is working for Rudd Labor? Well one of the contestants' names for the Liberal Party preselection is Byron Bayh. He's an extremely bioted Christian and got really pissed when he didnt get preselected. I am copy pasting the conversation i had with him:

Byron Bayh Jr is no longer a member of the Liberal Party.
Yeah I was a Bradfield preselector. This dude was never in contention (he never registered as a candidate), and Nelson resigned for a defence job. The diplomatic gig came after. Get your facts straight.

Christianity is hardly about left or right-wing politics, or any ideology for that matter. I dont feel like going further because the man clearly has little-no faith. He sees God as a vehicle for his own earthly ambitions for power and self-righteousness -not much more. Yuck

OH i'm sorry he was having a sad because the liberal party 'cheated' him out the of the preselection that he was 'promised' and that the liberal party has a 'personal bias' against him so he decided to run as an independent.
Um. He never registered as a candidate. He was never up for preselection for that reason. You have to register as a candidate to be able to be preselected.

What about that is so hard to understand? He was never a contestant.

Well he said he applied to be a candidate but they rejected his application as invalid.

his status application on september 4 read: just had a long conversation with a Liberal Party official who claims that his application for Bradfield preselection was 'invalid'. This is blatant discrimination and I am going to take it all the way to the High Court if need be.
Lol, let him try. They rejected a lot of people for a lot of reasons, all perfectly valid.

I'm waiting for his status update when the by election is over. When is the by election over by the way?

(by the way if everyone could add him as a friend and comment on his status it would be comedy gold)
November sometime. The date has not been set.

The word ideology has three meanings that I can think of.
-Ideology - something is unrealistic and not based on "the facts".
-Ideology in the Marxist sense - a false consciousness that is imposed upon the population to discourage social unrest
-Ideology in the postmodern sense - any sense of meaning or value

I hope that was informative.

An ideology is merely human. All of humanity is alienated when too much trust is placed in merely human projects and false utopias. Ideological rejection of God and an atheism of indifference, oblivious to the Creator and at risk of becoming equally oblivious to human values, constitute some of the chief obstacles to development today

Ideologies oversimplify reality in artificial ways
