So they're allowed to love and commit, but they're not allowed to marry?
Not allowed to even do that, because that kind of relationship is harmful to the community and everyone in it.

Did you not hear that the victorian bush fires were caused by homosexuals?

Marriage is for heterosexual couples, and it cannot change. It would demean marriage somehow. Change is archaic.

Yes, I'm sure homosexuality involves genocide and mass killing based on a certain characteristics that an individual has no control over. Like Race? Skin colour? Or.... maybe even sexuality?

And who are you to tell homosexuals that they're not allowed to love and commit to each other?
Its not me who decided it was wrong. God did, and since he is your creator, you will be well advised to respect His wishes.

You're not disobeying my law by having homosexual sex(you don't have to listen to what I tell you to do, if I ever did, I'm one human talking to another).

I know you don't believe in God, but whether you believe in Him or not, hardly excuses you as His creation to reject His love and abuse His gift of free will to commit sin.

On a side note, I havn't said anything about not being able to "love" another person of the same sex. I love my father, and my brother (though he's a downright pest sometimes). You mistake sex to be a requirement for love, homosexual sex is a perversion, as would be homosexual marriage.

So why on earth do couples sleep together then? and @ your perversion bit, unless you tried it, how would you know? :D

God sounds like a tyrant.

How did you come to this conclusion? He gave you the free will, to choose to love him back and follow his rules out of love and faith or to desert him and ignore his rules out a selfishness to only meet your own desires.

If he gave you the option not to follow his rules, and even to harm his followers (like as a result of free will, for example you could shoot up a church etc.) he can't be a tyrant?

A true Christian doesn't follow God because he is fearful of him, and to save themselves from going to Hell, but through their love and devotion to such a benevolant God.

So why on earth do couples sleep together then? and @ your perversion bit, unless you tried it, how would you know? :D
Sex was meant to occur only between one man and one woman, within marriage, for the purpose of creating life. Any other "use" of it is a perversion.

Homosexuality is definately not the only perversion encouraged by todays society unfortunately (the most common being the use of contraception and sex outside of wedlock).

If you truly loved someone, sex is not required for the relationship to work, can't you see that?

All forms of sex outside that which was intended by God are selfish acts by humans, putting their own physical pleasure above their Creator's laws through the exploitation of a gift bestowed upon us, and thus is immoral and sinful.

How did you come to the conclusion that God even exists?

Sure this has been said before, but:

If god created us human beings, then he created our neural network, our biological state as we know it and therefore the chemicals and impulses that cause attraction between two people.

Surely he would have known that there was a possibility that someone would be or turn gay? If not, it's his mistake and he shouldn't cast them to hell and whatnot.

Or possibly, they were meant to be on this earth and he created them for a reason.

God created man in his image and blessed us with the gift of free will to do as we please. However he did lay out a set of rules, which cannot be disputed.

Humans have the gift of free will, we can choose to have faith in God, or reject him from our lives. In addition, we can choose to accept the rules God gave us or reject them for our own convenience.

Athiests accuse Christians for being hypocritical, "you don't follow everything in the Bible." This is true, mankind is tainted by the original sin, and is unable to resist temptation to sin throughout his whole life, however one with faith in God is driven by their love for Him to try.

However Christ died on the cross for our sins for all eternity, to be forgiven, all you need to do is believe in Him and ask for His mercy. If you don't beleive in Christ you cannot be granted this mercy, and you will suffer the punishment for your sins.

Temptations are different for different people. While one may be tempted to have sex outside of wedlock, others may be tempted to fornicate with those of their own sex. Both are perversions of God's intention of sex in humans and both are equally selfish, wrong and immoral.

The temptations vary for different people. Experiencing the temptation is not a sin inunto its self, abandoning God's law and allowing oneself to be tempted into sinning is.

I'm saying that homosexual tendancies are biologically programmed into some (not sure about all homosexual) people.

God created us in his image, which means that he went through our makeup with a fine tooth comb - one would assume... Those who have the homosexual tendancies 'programmed' into them could very possibly have been put on this earth, by god... To be gay.

There are several, combined they teach the believer which is right from wrong. (These are just a few):

Genesis 1:27-28
"So God created... male and female... God blessed them and said to them 'Be Fruitful'."

Genesis 2:23-24
" 'This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh;'...For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh."

Leviticus 20, deals with all sorts of sexual immorality; homosexuality, incest and beastiality, among others.

So all of that says basically have lots of sex, multiply, and don't have sex with your relatives and your dog. Where are the bits that say it's bad to have sex with more than one person, before marriage/out of marriage, and with contraception?

Ah! Wait! it's all open to interpretation :)

There are many more passages relating to sexual morality, as I stated in my post. I have given a few, but I can't be bothered and shouldn't be expected to, find every passage in the Bible which relates to love and post it here for your convenience.

How can you resist being gay if it's programmed into you?

That's like being straight but forcing yourself to be gay. Can you imagine forcing yourself to be with the same sex?

If you do this, you're lieing to yourself, and will never be happy. If god wants or wanted us to be happy, then why would he make someone homosexual?

You shall not commit adultery
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife

Christ and the apostles clearly affirmed this point.
