There are pros and cons for both, in high school there was lunchtime where everyone had a break at the same time and uni is ultra flexible.

Uni FTW. Flexibility, interesting subjects, better parties...

UNI UNI UNI!

If you don't like someone in your class, chances are you won't see them again anyway =P

More relaxed, wider variety of people... sometimes it's just hard trying to coordinate similar breaks =(

unless they keep asking stupid questions every lecture, in which the answer has already been said by the lecturer 5 seconds before XD

+1 as well, especially coming out of a rich, private, overly populated white school community, who i bet winged there way through year 12, and having to drop out or struggle through uni!

Usually they'll be gone when the subject ends though. Unless you're doing a course where you're surrounded by the same people the whole time each year.

Why not make some friends at uni?
Over time you'll become closer and yeh...

are you talking to me? i do have quite a few good friends at uni, but it takes a long time to reach the closeness that you had at school. living 10000000000 miles away doesnt help.

Yeh, I was saying it in reference to your post and the other people what have said similar things.
I wasn't particularly close to my high school friends so I guess it's a bit different for me.
Like we were good friends but nothing massively close, there is a limit to how much I trust them with certain stuff.
