Among his policies are:
- Repeal a carbon tax, if in place;
- Legislate to limit Woolworth and Coles to 22.5 per cent market share each;
- Deregulate industries like dairy;
- Make ethanol mandatory to reduce petrol prices;
- Significantly increase customs duty on products coming into Australia; and
- Relax recreational fishing rules.
- give indigenous Australians formal deeds to land they hold under native title

I assume he just wants unlimited water use and land clearing, but would regulate for farmers to be paid higher prices for milk which consumers purchase at lower prices.

It's funny how greens supporters are making him out to be some "ULTRA right wing nut job!11", when, ignoring the fact that such a term is meaningless, his positions are far closer to theirs than liberal or labor.

free market bad

regulate everything

help the battlers

i mean yeah obv iously envrionmental stuff, but he is otherwise basically a socialist
He's a protectionist. Insofar as they both believe in government playing a large role economically, true. But in terms of their opinion of what sort of role the government should be playing in it's largess, they are miles apart. Do you think Katter wants to massively increase arts funding or do you think the Greens want to massively increase agricultural subsidies? To say nothing of the non-economic policy differences.

I didn't say they were the same, fuck

I said more similar than the other parties

its nice to act like your position is all nuanced and shit, but the kind of heavily increased market intervention that the greens and katter argue for respectively ultimately leads down the same path

Yes one leads to quality television and theatre the other to richer cattle farmers. Identical really.

Sif you could imagine what happens in any play at all. Cosmo staring at the Opera House or the Seymour centre, wondering what ungodliness goes on within.
