why the fuck are there so many of these aspie threads now a days

fuck shadowdude that cunt, sinofile and any other awkward dudes
If I recall correctly, I never was this bad...

Perhaps my delving into my liking of S. has inspired others to come out to speak their minds on issues that are important to them.

Easiest answer, just talk to someone, go up, say hello, try and strike convo, ask them random (yet somewhat relevant) questions, about anything, it'll work out soon, that's how you make friends at uni too, if not you'll be screwed

also, cbf reading the rest of the thread
^ That.

How do I get peoples numbers?
You... ask them. I recall the last time someone asked for my number, she was like: "Hey, can I have your number?" and we exchanged numbers on the mezzanine level of the Red Centre.

Or thereabouts.

But wouldn't it be awkward if some random (me) asks for someone number. Remember I havent really had a real convosation with anyone in my grade.

Random people give me their number when I don't ask.

...What the fuck? Why do you remember that? I don't know how I got the numbers of half the people in my phone but they're there. Normal non-Assburgers people don't obsess over things like this.

Also, Powlmow or whatever your name is, obvious troll is obvious.

Basically i was the same, (almost this level, I still talked to people) through junior high school, but once I got to year 11 everything started to work out. I'm not 'perfect' - that actually takes some work. One thing to remember is that people are inherently positive, with good intentions ('cept for the jocks/bitches, that's just an idiotic facade) so if you open yourself up, you'll get interest, at LEAST encouragement or a reply. Don't do this to people you think are mean, they just have a hell of a lot to learn in life.

Be cool - basically means be positive to people, without an negative intentions. If you help make the interraction enjoyable, you're a friend to them.
It's really simple, just don't get discouraged, and remember they are people ... social status is bullshit, you can get it by pretending it's not really there, and just being fun, remembering that they're people.

Basically just contribute positively to the interaction. It's all that's required, the rest stems from there.

Good luck!! :D

Re: awkward

Uh oh.
I thought I told you a while back to start talking to people! You obviously didn't take my advice :(

Trust me, social skills is a necessity. You need know how to be social. Things aren't going to miraculously get better after high school. You need to start now. It'll be hard at first, but you wont regret it.
If you know him why don't you be his friend?
