okay I'm a 4u student and I found this really hard. What was the restriction on the y coordinate for 3biv?
and how did people do ii) and iii) of the circle geo? I found that harder than the 4u circle geo o.o
hoping for 60/84

the 2nd part of circle geo was
angle dab =angle dba (angles of isos. triangle)
angle adc=2x (angle sum of ext triangle)
angle cda = angle aod =2x (proven)
therefore cycli quad (angle in same seg in cycli quad are equal

3rd part

am=ac
therefor mo is a straight line (cuz of that chord thing )

Didn't you just have to differentiate the volume with respect to l? Ie. Take h as a constant.

And overall I thought the exam was pretty doable. There was nothing obscenely hard, it just required more time to nut stuff out. Fingers crossed for 75+/84

1/3 actually normally 2 for working out 1 for final answer

So wouldn't i get 2 marks then? Because i got the correct negative time but didn't subtract it from 10am?

For part ii), you had to use the sum of interior opposite angles = exterior angle (since it was isosceles) - this ended up = 2x, and since angles in same segment are =, it was cyclic.
For the last part, I *think* it was that line from centre of circle which bisects a chord is perpendicular to it.. so therefore the line through P and M to the circle is a radius, so therefore OPM is a straight line or something. Idk, not sure if i got that one right.

Yeah, implicit is only in 4 unit. But this isn't implicit - all you're doing is differentiating the volume with respect to l, so you treat h as a constant.

uh oh, for the time question, where the answer is 8:46am. I think I might have put 8:48am, due to a calculation error when subtracting the time lol. Will I still get the 3 marks? (with all the working shown)

I think the consensus was that it was 8. I stuffed it up and wrote 4, dammit.. I forgot that 1 period = travel to both extremities and back. Bahhhh.

HAHAHA... someone post up the paper already. I wanna see how easy it is!

I can already pretty much gaurantee anyone that took my help would have got at least 115/120 raw for 2unit (within like 30minutes lolololol). I literally scrolled through that 2unit paper in 10 minutes and could literally see all the solutions in my head immediately LOLOLOL. There were only 5 five marks in the whole paper that required any thought at all (and even they weren't too hard).

Someone upload the 3unit paper so I can see how easy it is. I don't want to read what questions you guys are posting because then that will give me hints with regard to the questions.

Still. I reckon I could have safely gauranteed ANYONE 74/84 raw mark for 3unit.

If the marking criteria doesn't said it needs a correct answer then possibly basically te markers will know what you're trying to do however it really depend whether they're lineant or not maybe 2 maybe 3.
