I wonder if Townies realised it isn't another media beat up yet like he is always claiming.

I wish Shorten was in da running, I hate both parties but at least I don't throw up whenever he's speaking

My tip is on Bowen to be treasurer.

At least the deadwood of Swan, Conroy, O'Connor, Garett etc will be going to the backbenches.

I wonder if you can get your head even further up your own arse?

The media have been claiming for weeks that a showdown was *imminent* they only managed to actually get it right today. They certainly weren't right about a delegation telling the PM to step aside.

Moving on, I really didn't think that Shorten could be that much of a hack. The honorable thing to have done would be to go down with his ship.

Dilemma for channel 9. Stay with the coverage or go to origin...

I just want labor to loose the next election and sort out the factional bullshit for once and for all.

How your tune changes quickly once you finally realise you are on a rapidly sinking ship, sinking faster than the titanic.

At least with Rudd Labor wont be in wipeout territory like they were headed with Gillard.

I haven't changed my tune at all. I'll still be voting labor, I support labor, but I think a loss is a better outcome in the long term for the party. Like I said I support parties, not personalities. I want a strong labor party and it will not get strong by winning the next election.

Unlike most idiots in this thread (you included) I am able to take a long term view of things.

The nice thing to come out of this is that Gillard won't lost the election k3k3k3

Give it another 50 years and she won't be remembered for the drama (or maybe, I mean look at Whitlam), but she will be able to say she never lost an election.
Oh I definitely think Gillard is the Whitlam of our generation, it will just take a while for people to see that.
