I've actually been to more detentions then I've actually gotten

Skipped assembly several times in a row.

It turned out my best bud was signing me out cause she felt responsible for not stopping me.

She's awesome. I didn't even ask her to do it.

I was like "I wanna go home. I'm tired. I'm hungry" and all those sort of excuses.

But I got caught cause the teacher saw me slinking off.

apart from the standard not doing hw i remember having gotten detention for

-verbally abusing a teacher and calling them a nazi
-punt kicking someone's lunch box and breaking it
-smacking someone over the head with a cardboard folder (in my defence it was a fair cardboard folder fight but i was just winning. The other dude didn't complain but the teacher didn't like what they saw)

I got detention last year, I was sitting with a couple of friends who were jamming one of those metre rulers under a door and they snapped it in half. I didn't even do anything but apparently I was guilty by association. I'm so glad that particular teacher got a job at another school this year.
