Nah it'll usually depend on which branch e.g. Chem eng has male to female of 2:1 at UNSW which already has a higher proportion of males

If you are lucky you will probably see 19:1 in tutorial otherwise pretty much all of them are guys...

Not sure if you're joking but there were 3-5 girls in the tutes I was in.

Calculating that for the approximate amount of students in tutes, pretty much this:

it would probably "help" if you have facebook. there are a lot of groups where people share notes/ideas/resources/etc so it would be good to also have them

Pretty much any society at uni will have their social events which run every few months or so.
