Creative writing.. am I the only person who would prefer to be told what to write?

It starts off good, and I'm like yes yes yes!

..and then it derails, and I'm like no no no!

I feel like I need to dress my writing up, and then it looks OTT, but when I tone it down, it looks too plain.

Told me to draw a tree diagram, i was like 'bitch plz' and drew a tree with apples and everything, and had the answer written on a leaf that was falling.

I didn't mind my teacher giving me plot ideas (which he was happy to do if I needed it, especially for Ext 1) but I hated being limited by genre - that was probably my biggest weakness.

This is how I got a 70% in a 10% weight 2U (Task 1).

My dumbass lost a few marks from not reading the Max-Min Problem question properly.

Uni = freedom from parents, less oppression in how I dress/what I want to do with my time (less time just in my room), actually doing a course that wasn't picked by my parents (i.e. no more Physics) = a brighter future

HS = HSC stress, constant nagging from my parents about my Physics/Me doing 11Us/Me being bad at a subject I didn't even want to pick and having to stay up to 3AM to do as much as I can, having to be stuck with tutors who are not helping me as much, having to do a lot of things in secret = my future will be better (despite uni being more challenging etc) than my current lifestyle

Thank god I can actually speculate the better possibilities of the future. WOAH. WHAT A SKILL!
