Update: Thanks for all the support. I ended up getting rejected for SBHS. I guess Only had one report and wasn't amazing, lack of extracurriculars and charity, they're the main reasons. I have done the NSBHS entrance exam two days ago and I will get my result in three weeks. If, unfortunately, I do not make nsbhs, I will try harder and start to consider my application for next yr.

For people who's doing the test next yr or people like me who searched the whole website about NSBHS tests: The NSBHS yr 9 application English test was just identifying techniques of a poem and a narrative and writing a few paragraphs surrounding a quote, you get to choose a quote from two quotes which were given. One was "The edge of the map is only the beginning of exploration". The maths test was alright, I realised I had some careless mistakes like I forgot to change square km to square metre. There were few questions to challenge the students, there was this identity question. Basic factorising was also involved. 4 or 5 word problems. I remembered a question which was: There are some blue cards and some white cards with the same size. The chance of picking a white card is 2/5. After adding a white card, the chance of picking white becomes 3/7. Whats the minimum amount of cards. Apparently the answer was 20 ( I got it wrong my tutor taught me, not really sure if the answers 20 I kinda forgot). There were simplifying questions. The TEST WAS HELD ON ZOOM SO THE ENGLISH TEST WAS BASICALLY ON GOOGLE FORMS AND THE MATHS TEST HAD FOUR SECTIONS. SECTION A WAS MULTIPLE CHOICES AND SECTIONS B C AND D WERE WRITTEN ONES SO YOU HAVE TO WRITE ON PAPER THEN UPLOAD TO GOOGLE FORMS. There was geometry questions but only a few, a lot of equation questions. There were no graphing since we're not doing it on site but if we did it on site there might be graphing questions.

Basically for maths it very different to the NSBHS we did. Basically for maths do numerical reasoning practice tests( I didn't do this when I practiced for the exam, but I'm pretty sure it will help because for the test you have to answer questions with quite a lot of big numbers and data and that's similar to aptitude or numerical reasoning tests). For comprehension, maybe buy a booklet, but you can't really prepare other than practice your interpretation skills in comprehension. For example a question could be: "What do you think the reader's motivation is in this line?". For abstract reasoning someone on boredofstudies(I forgot the name) said to do random IQ tests on the internet. For writing it was basically the same for the NSBHS test. Also comprehension, abstract reasoning, and maths are are multiple choice.

Oh yeah also I felt the HAST test was harder than the NSBHS. Like wayyy harder. Because there isn't any concepts to practice in maths and it was all logic based

there may be strategies for HAST since there are different types of patterns

Basically I improved in verbal reasoning substantially by doing online iq tests...
I found englih to be easy but struggled with the maths and science sections.
Writing was pretty decent, just make sure you don't run out of time
good luck!!
