they deny it gave advantage. i think rest of universe may disagree
I coming from a non-selective and non-private school, would agree with you. One of the things that does annoy me is the level of access to resources such schools receive. It makes me sad that regular comprehensive public schools more often than not get left behind and this to an extent, demonstrates it.

Correct me if I am wrong but something similar did happen to paper 2 English advanced this year? I wonder how it got leaked.

(p.s. Thank you for your efforts in uploading a plethora of trial papers, especially for mathematics. They have been incredibly helpful and has certainly prepped me for the bloodbath on Monday to a great degree!)

Oh was it not? I thought it was on a Facebook HSC page because prior to the exam, there was lots of chatter about a full 20 mark discursive and the essay questions not word for word but a general sense on what it was asking
bruh its just called a prediction, it's not even possible for the HSC to be leaked, literally only 4 people know the Q's in advance they all sign NDAs that shit is never getting leaked

the independent trial was likely written after the hsc, so did someone know already it was in hsc and thought yeah great idea to put it into the independent paper?

they may be learning now that that wasn't such a great idea after all

For China 1927-1949, I did question B regarding Communist victory because, I ain't comparing CCP vs GMD approaches. I can do it but I feel like it would make my essays a little bit convoluted. For Conflict in Europe, I did question A (escalation of conflict post 1935). And then I do Civil Rights :). I was worried that a 2021 but slightly harder would occur but honestly, this was a 2022 reincarnation.

Power and authority was weird. Not in a baaaadd way but i felt that the questions were just... I can't find the right words.
the communist victory question was a bit unexpected imo but i agree i did not feel like doing an essay on the approaches ahaha. p&a was so weird i agree. i hadn't seen a comparison question about the value of the sources before and the 15 marker? huh.

haven't got whole paper, but i have this
View attachment 45292
bro im like 99% sure this was in my trial, i was so shocked to open the paper and see it
(in my opinion, i think it gave a little bit of an advantage tbh because i had teachers feedback from my response on analysing that source + my brain automatically knew what to respond with- but i didn't utilise that advantage since i didn't read over my power and authority feedback from trials gg)

anyways does anyone think this year will have cracked alignment or nah cuz i feel like a lot of the questions were really difficult and weird :biglaugh: i might just be coping cause i worked really hard all year for modern history just to be done dirty by the goofiest conflict in Europe and russia questions like why did they ask about the survey in CIE and repeat foreign policy from last year???

alignment this year could honestly go either way. the questions were really easy for my essay sections but ive heard that they were a bit all over the place for other people esp for conflict in europe. i think the core section's questions were a bit weird and that 15 marker might have a big impact. i hope its good alignment tho...
