Hi I got A for all subjects, but a B in PDHPE in my current school, does anyone know if it’s a good report to transfer to Penrith in year 8 if I get good marks on the exam?

yes that is a good report, I feel like if u do well on exam you'll get penrith. Ur NAPLAN is also taken into consideration. Also what r ur exc's? and what's your approx. ranking of school? Because these are also important factors considering your application.

I took ss of email beacuse they had my schools name, adress and everything so you should take a pic if it confirms its from ur school and confirms that it is maths enrichment. Btw what school/ year are you applying for?^^

I'm applying for yr8 baulko and/or jr and from hornsby girls
though I don't think I'll get in anyways because people rarely move schools in yr7

ah well edutest does come first because the people pick you based off results but they would still look at your exc. do you perhaps play any sports or just do a hobby like debating or chess? I'm pretty sure you can put pictures of you doing those activities as proof

hmmmm maybe you could use that and say that you want to transfer to baulko (?) because there's not much activities to do at your current school and that you're seeking new talents

yh thats fine as long as u have at least three u should be fine (i have a friend who had 1 and almost got in). superior is the highest grading scale in edutest marking. so there's six levels based on how well u did compared to everyone else: below average, low average, average, high average, above average and superior. as for ur mistakes, do the tests again and again until u get full marks for each. it'll let u recognise the patterns between the ones u got wrong

I did HAST test in year 7 and my result for abstract reasoning: average/above average (top 50%)
Math: average/above average (top 50%)
English: high average ( top 15%)
Writing: superior (top top 10%)
Total: in total top 15%

I am aiming for top 10% and I am doing my best to get no less then top 15%. I have lots of good excs (badmington, musical, debating, swimming carnival, etc) and I also did AMC, CAT, Big science competition, ICAS (2023&2024). I got rlly good in ICAS distinction for math 2023 and 2024, 3 marks away from high distinction. I got good for NAPLAN (2023) I got nothing lower than band 7 and for NAPLAN (2024) they changed the style the highest was triangle then. Everything is good except my report, however my school is top 10, so I hope that makes it better. I got A in christian studies, math and english, I got B ine eveything else despite getting good marks. E.g. for science I got 26/30, I still got a B. Also lastly I got c for pe and latin..which really nerfs it. Do u think I have a chance?

ohh I don't think that's in the application process but I'm pretty sure that's an interview question. In the application it does ask why you want to go to agriculture school so if ur applying to ruse you would do that section.

I didn't do any competitions nor do I have any certificates im hoping to make up for this with my edutest results as that holds a lot of weight age

Bc someone told me that you can have mid exc and really good edutest results like 5 superiors and get in. Or you can have like mid edutest results and really good exc and get in

then try to do really good on edu test. You are trying for balko right? Balko will have loads of applicants from people who have good academic achievement, report, excs. You have good amount of excs and have u done any math/english competition beacuse even if you participated or got a credit for that it will still count as extra curricular -- it would look good on your report and better than nothing. Do you also play intruments? If you don't thats ok, js focus on doing super well in the edu test. since your applying for balko, there could be some people in there who have lots of excs, amazing report, academic achievements and getting good in the test however if you get rlly good in this exam then you'll probably get in. That's the type of advice I would give you (I am no expert though).

I have not done any competitions whatsoever so I honestly think I don't stand a chance
