the only time i can properly write an imaginative is late at night, sipping water in the dark. that doesnt make it exactly helpful at 10 am daytime under stressful exam conditions

Yeah same. Like i can’t do creative writing under time conditions cause it’s so hard to think of good stuff fast. Creative writing under exam conditions I just stupid and should be abolished

Exactly! I know its cliche to be like, your worth isn't determined by your ATAR, but like, legitimately its a very specific set of skills they test for, and not everyone has that, but everyone's still smart, just in different areas
