  • Introduction – no more than 500 words. The introduction outlines what the topic is about and why the student chose that inquiry.
  • Log – no more than 500 words. The log reflects the research journey a student has taken.
  • Central material – between 2500 and 4000 words. The central material is the main body of the PIP. Students use this section to weave cross-cultural comparisons and chosen continuity and or change perspectives into their work. Graphs and illustrations can be included in the central material. The central material can be divided into several chapters relevant to the topic chosen.
  • Conclusion – no more than 500 words. The conclusion is an explanation of what has been learnt as a consequence of the investigation.
  • Resource list – no word limit. Include annotations in this section. Refer to Appendix 1 resource list and annotations template for a scaffold.

same! I incorporated it as well as islam. My teacher makes us do 4 countries and 2 religions to ensure we smash the cross cultural section of the criteria
oh so it has to be cross cultural. I really need to like find a guide for the pip so that I can make sure I'm meeting all the requirements lol

so is the log like kinda like ongoing evaluations where u describe ur thought process, brainstorming and stuff.
I'd keep a diary with all those things, "thought process, brainstorming and stuff", and then when you make your log after the rest of your research, summarise those into the 500 words

I think my cross cultural was kind of weak but oh well haha, I did AI vs Human perspectives for mine - my whole paper was about the morality of AI and it's place in our future since I'm pretty Anti-AI

aww ): it sounds good though!! I'm pretty sure you can still get high marks, he just kept emphasising on the cross cultural component so idk😭
