Ur internal ranks may have slightly adjusted due to your performance in the HSC examination. Like if its like a 3 mark raw mark difference, they bump you up so you don't take a retard's mark unfairly

for math and english they bump u up abit (marking for these subjects finished ages ago).

what supports this is many people in my last year cohort got shit assessment marks in physics (cause physics was the last test, meaning no time for NESA to adjust internal ranks)

it probably means there wasn't that big of a difference in ur marks relative to ur cohort. you could still take a lower assessment mark if ur unlucky with a garbage cohort
