...Visiting the orphanage in Cambodia was incredible. It's run by Aussies, and is a surprisingly happy place. It certainly made me appreciate my life in a whole new way, and that it doesn't cost a cent to find happiness. So yeah, a really life changing experience, and beautiful children from babies to 20+ year old kids!
I really liked it too because I got to take a senior maths class for a week =D Teaching is something that appeals to me too =)

But in the mean time, it's a matter of getting a job (ANYWHERE!!! *DESPERATION*), earning/saving $$$, and getting ready for uni =D
I love taking photos, I want to do a course and get a pro camera/lens...though it would be a massive pain making sure it didn't get stolen.

Wow, you're a bit of a frequent traveller then! England... I like their accents, way cool =P

The temples are absolutely stunning, so many beautiful pictures even on a little cheap digital camera. When I go back, I'd like to see them again but this time have a tour guide so i know more about what i'm actually looking at - after a while it's just another pile of pretty rocks and bricks!

    *Dammit, word limit...*
that's awesome! the uni lifestyle just sounds so awesome, i almost can't wait to get started. but also enjoying the privileges that come with senior-dom. :) i'm hoping to do media/communications or international & global studies or something like that at either uts or sydney, possibly unsw. :) we'll see how it all goes.
ah indeed, i love my music so much. i'm liking your tastes as well- the killers are my favourite band of all time and i saw muse the other day at BDO. and of course, who could forget, jeffster... :)

or maybe coz its only my 2nd day
    lol
**can't believe that had a word limit!**

Wooo! India?! That would be amazing... India is DEFINITELY on my list of places to go!! This year, if I can save enough money, I'd like to head into outback NSW, and also back to Asia (Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, maybe Singapore too). In the slightly more distant future, Africa (Mozambique, Uganda and Tanzania probably) and India are the next places I'd like to go to.

Do you go overseas often? I'd never left Australia before this year...and I'd been on a plane once. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to travelling =P
Thank you, I hope it all works out too :) At present I'm trying to organise my next trip to another Orphanage in Cambodia.

Wow, that's a massive difference, from Med to Commerce! (Well, I mean I don't actually know anything about Commerce, just kind of making that assumption there lol)

Yeah, my UMAT wasn't all that flash either - will be doing it again this year, hopefully do a prep course and be a little more focussed on it. You know, even if you end up doing it postgrad, I'm sure you'll get into Medicine - or alternatively, you'll find something else that makes you feel fulfilled.
Well, you'll have to let me know how you go in your UMAT this year =)
