Hey I got in too! But I didn't go tonight because so many assignments due this week. In fact alot of my friends from UNSW got in as well so don't be too surprised to find alot of UNSW people there! Also I got in for Audit, what did u get into?

I'm not quite sure how to start the assignment. How are we supposed to answer the questions? The first question is about establishing a duty of care and then the second is how it was breached? How do we apply the four step negligent test?

Did anyone also get a text message on their phone about being invited to the first round of summer vacation programs at KPMG? I got one which is really strange cause Im a first year... and just applied for the sake of it...How do I prepare for it? What type of questions are they going to ask?

I was wondering for a person going to uni 4 days a week (10am-3pm), do you think that having a job is a wise decision? Because I was thinking that fter work wouldn't you be too tired to study? What are other people's experiences like?

TAS times are NOT allocated on a first come basis, as after everybody submits their choices, the computer then chooses systematically suitable times that can accomodate everybody's choices.

yeh, the exact amount for student contribution is i think $251.60

yes the tute goes for 1 and half hours. Like one of my co-major in semester 1, I go to 1 one and a half lecture then go to 1 one and a half tutorial EACH week. so you only go once I'm guessing for you as well.

you enrol for semester 2 lectures and tutes towards the end of semester 1

i don't have the exact statistics but as I said that's would the lecturer told us last year in general. Also he didn't tell us the exact stats for int students as the male/female makeup could change alot from one year to another.

if you're talking about the commerce course in general, I remember the lecturer told us last year on Open day that females make up 55%, males like 43% and the rest international students.

i was wondering is accounting is hard and what type of assessments are we required to do if we studied legal environment of commerce?
