You can break a 3 octave scale into singles octaves and into tetra chords (4 notes - half of an octave). Repeat the tetra cords up and down, over and over again but SLOWLY - you're aim is accuracy. This works pretty well for me and I learn the scales in 5 - 10min. It is a tedious process at...

Perhaps you could write down what YOU hear and then transpose it afterwards. OR Write down what you hear but imagine everything has a flat/sharp sign depending on the transposition. Hope this helps!
