If you're over 18 you need to stop applying for the maccas/subway type jobs where they almost exclusively hire 15 year olds to keep costs down. Get your RSA (responsible service of alcohol) and RSG (gambling) and apply for bartending, bottleshops, pokies venues etc. Jobs that are for adults.

Try and get into the liquor department. You actually get to do stuff as well as scan shit (face the shelves, fill the fridges, lift slabs, drag pallets of beer around etc), the customer is not always right, you get to argue and tell em to push off etc. Don't get me wrong it's still a prick...

As said earlier make sure you're applying for specific positions at specific stores and not just putting up profiles. I doubt you're too old, I didn't work at Woolies until I turned 30.
