If you're over 18 you need to stop applying for the maccas/subway type jobs where they almost exclusively hire 15 year olds to keep costs down. Get your RSA (responsible service of alcohol) and RSG (gambling) and apply for bartending, bottleshops, pokies venues etc. Jobs that are for adults.

"I get it all back on tax", I can't understand why so many people actually believe this when it comes to tax deductions. If you're a low income earner you'll be getting 15% back on your union fees or even zero.
Try and get into the liquor department. You actually get to do stuff as well as scan shit (face the shelves, fill the fridges, lift slabs, drag pallets of beer around etc), the customer is not always right, you get to argue and tell em to push off etc.

As said earlier make sure you're applying for specific positions at specific stores and not just putting up profiles. I doubt you're too old, I didn't work at Woolies until I turned 30.
