Well I like the course a lot, moreso when compared to Early Childhood. But I was just saying that I'll probably get secondary degree at some point later on unless I decide that I wanna stick to primary.
My maths teacher in year 9 and 10 was terrifying, nice person but also really scary, couldn't do maths cos I was shitting myself the whole time just from his presence lol.
But I guess if I do computing I'll mainly have the students who elect to do the course (and want to be there), as opposed to all the kids that just don't care and are troublesome etc.
Good luck and all the best for you too, I guess a SOR teacher would have similar advantages too, only the students that wanna do it etc.
Heh, I almost changed to Early Childhood, so glad I didn't though.
Hmm, I think I might do Secondary and do TAS for like computer studies etc at some point too.
Or I may just get too attached to primary and stay there xD
Because last year only like 4% of uni teaching graduates actually got jobs.
Sooo I guess going overseas for work would make it easier to get employed.
However being male and as schools need a percentage of male teachers for camps and what not I guess it may not be too bad.
Preferably the public school like 5 mins walk from my house xD
However I think I'd be happy just about anywhere, though the less travel the better.
Despite that I am somewhat considering teaching overseas, either UK or USA but at this stage I would definitely prefer here.
