    Timetable and Text books :)

Well when you start uni, because you may not start at 9am everyday like you did at school, you may get a bit lazy and start hating your 9am starts. Just a word of warning from experience :p

    Enrolment Suks

It can be confusing at first, but you'll get used to it. Don't worry, a lot of other students around you will be in the same boat. Anyways, if you make a mistake you usually have until the 2nd week of semester to make changes (incase you chose the wrong subjects or something). Just read the...

    accounting

In terms of meeting requirements for CPA/CA, the subjects you study at all uni's are pretty much the same, so you'd get the same knowledge wherever. It's more about the core units I guess, as the Business degrees like the one at UTS has more core subjects, than say the Commerce degree at UNSW...

after 7-8yrs they still care about your uni marks?

If you had some PG studies they would most likely look at those too. As people have said, it's probably just a way of cutting applicants down, but those who do make it through, it would obviously be based on other factors as well. I mean for most grad jobs they say you need at least a C or D...

what do you do as an auditor?

Auditing can get tedious and boring sometimes, especially at the junior levels. I suppose once you get to senior and manager levels it can become more interesting but it depends if you can last the 2-3 years doing all the boring work. I guess if you really want to get into auditing then there...

Bus from Parra station to Macquarie

I don't really like the 131500 website. If you get confused by that then try http://www.sydneybuses.info . At least you can easily download the timetables off there and stuff.

Ingleburn to Maquarie uni - how long?

Your option is probably the best one. Buses tend to be slow. I guess you could also go from Ingleburn to City via East Hills (especially on an express train) and get the Mac Uni buses from the city. That could be an option too.

IT camp vs 3 days of Maths bridging course

There aren't any maths core subjects in the IT degree (whether you do it as a single or combined degree) so I wouldn't worry too much about the maths. They only recommend maths because it helps you in the more technical subjects (by thinking in a more mathematical way) but it terms of maths...

    MyAdmin and UTSOnline

MyStudentAdmin is used for enrolment, checking results and any admin sort of things you need to do while at uni. UTSOnline is used for some of the subjects that you do (not all subjects use UTSOnline but most of them do). Lecturers can post up lecture and tutorial notes, discussion boards...

    B Bus 2007 Students.

The trains aren't that bad. I've had little troubles with them and they are usually on time nowadays. They get me to and from home a lot faster in peak hour!

    CSP pricing

CSP is also determined on a per subject basis (well as far as I know) rather than a per course basis. So for example, if you did a Commerce degree, most of your subjects would be in Band 2, but if you did any law subjects in your Commerce degree (which you would if you did Accounting), then...

    uni bar in building 10

There is actually a bar in Building 10 as part of the Level 7 cafe (if its still open lol), but I've never seen the bar in operation. Most people just go to Glasshouse or Markets.

    A few questions about UTS...

Well I think most questions have been covered. In terms of wireless, there are 2 wireless networks at UTS, the main UTS one and the IT faculty one (well there might be more but I don't know of them). The UTS one just requires a laptop with a built in wireless card (most newer laptops like the...

    Accounting Major CPA/CA accredited?

Either subject is fine for CPA/CA accreditation. As far as I know, the other 7 subjects in the Accounting major (plus most of the core subjects) satisfy the requirements for CPA (and definately CA which has less subject requirements). This elective option is really just there for interest. If...
