More like 98. They are all first, so they all should get the top exam mark as an assessment mark but won't. :(

Reminds me of when I got ripped off by a mark in chemistry. He was saying how it was only 3% so why does it matter. I said something along the lines of "exactly, so take 3% off everyone else then". Needless to say it was easier to edit my mark to what it should've been. :D

Clearly no one can read anymore. Relative differences. While that person's HSC mark is raped, the other person's internal mark will not be that bad as relative differences are taken into account.

What is the total mark? 100? If so, not big at all.

Both would get 96 for their assessment mark. If the relative difference is that much, and maintained, the 2nd person gets 95.99 - rounded to 96. Of course, you wouldn't have fractions that small.

Remember that assessment marks are calculated off relative differences. If your ranks are that close, you may end up with equal assessment marks, or 1 mark off.

^Wha? How did you infer that, from that? If the rest get marginally lower marks and similarly for the externals, not a whole lot will change.

73 raw is going to be a mid band 5. The cutoff for band 5 is in the 60s.

Needed more calculations, but the multiple choice was easy as (except for the last one). I got 14-15/15.
