haha yeah, I agree, I'm also sick of hearing ANU being reputed as the best uni. I don't think it's any better than any other Go8 uni, and ppl only think its the best based on its research which most undergrads wouldn't give a rats ass about. Also there is no way that UNSW is better than Usyd...

No u don't have to do 4 majors. U can choose to do only 1 major for each degree but it would still take 5 years because u need to have a certain number of credit points (240 i think for science/commerce). The other credit points would then need to be filled form other faculties like arts etc, or...

At Usyd u can get four majors (two for science) and two for commerce. UNSW only allows for one major in each degree.

It takes a fair bit of work, personally I hover around an avg of about 80. And also, as u get into second and third years it gets much more competitive so chances are ur WAM will drop unless, u work even harder.

Whatever man, u clearly have no idea about what u're talking about. With regards to comm at Usyd or UNSW, they are equal, end of story. Other factors like atmosphere, social environment, location etc should be considered and determine which uni u go to. Ppl who continue to debate Usyd vs UNSW...

Dude, as others have said, your opinions are completely misfounded and you are riding on the popular belief that UNSW commerce is better than Usyd simply because its UAI entry is higher (which is due to demand and number of places offered rather than quality). This simply is not true, in fact...

damn.....i guess it's a kmart epidemic then, all the effort of going through that gay coles myer process comes to getting a crappy job at kmart that doesn't even give u decent hours or even any proper training.

have u heard of other ppl who have had similar problems with kmart in general? If i had known kmart was like this i would have refused their offer and gone to work at coles or myers or something.

Yeah i meet bos ppl everywhere as well lol. I'm not rostered either.........i don't understand why we're being hired as xmas casuals in the first place if we aren't being rostered. All i can say is that we shouldn't be getting treated like dirt....none of my friends who work at other coles myers...

Yeah i work at kmart chatswood and have the same problem as u. I'm not on the roster, and seem to only get called when needed. Atm i haven't been called for a week, and i thought now would be pretty busy since its 2 weeks before xmas. I wonder if all colesmyer stores are like this..........or...

Yep I do adv maths. Finance is one of my options, also maybe insurance/banking, stats, or even science related areas.

Nah there's two ways to look at it. If i did stats (only 3cp) instead of ecmt i would have to do an extra stats unit to be exempt from doing the ecmt 1A course. SO thats why I did ecmt.......and most ppl who did it were losties in maths.....so it was all good. :p

I haven't got any results back yet, quite frustrating particularly since some of the courses i do only have 60 -70 ppl in them. I think with the maths department its the fact that they release all their maths results at the same time..........and this is what takes them so damn long to release...

What type of feedback do u want? I.e. Do u want to know what units to take to get a certain major, what are the compulsory first year commerce units etc?
